Before starting my master’s, I worked in a Biodesign studio where I got to see mycelium (and mushrooms) grow up close; it showed me the beauty of decay. In the picture I submitted you will see a Mycena living on a dead tree. Around it, you will see some dead leaves. I think the closeness of life and death can be beautiful.
